DA MOOD: The journey into the world of music comes to an end
Tomorrow, 30th July, RTP broadcasts the 8th and last episode of DA MOOD, a series produced by SPi that takes us on a journey to the world of music, more specifically to the dream of a boys band and everything that it represents in the musical world.
Starring Miguel Raposo, José Mata, Tiago Teotónio Pereira, Diogo Martins and Leo Bahia, DA MOOD also features actresses Maria João Bastos, Carolina Carvalho, Rita Tristão da Silva and the Brazilian Bárbara França.
Rui (Miguel Raposo) is a music teacher dissatisfied with life. One day, seeing a t-shirt with a picture of the Backstreet Boys, he has the idea of creating a boys band as a solution to his financial problems. To do so, he asks Mário (Rui Melo), an artistic agent and long-time friend, for help in finding more elements to join him.
It is then that they decide to hold a casting and choose: Cláudio (Diogo Martins), dance teacher, who dates Rui's aunt and has the dream of writing lyrics; Ruben (Tiago Teotónio Pereira), womanizer, partner in a car transformation company, who sees in boys band a chance to win more women; Gonçalo (José Mata), a trainee lawyer, unhappy with his life and with a passion for music production; and Tiago (Léo Bahia), an employee of a fast food company, with an angelic voice, but a look that is not quite coherent enough to belong to a boys band. And so DA MOOD, the biggest boys band in Portugal, was born.
To watch DA MOOD in full, the series is available on RTP Play.
