SPi receives the support of Creative Europe

2019-11-19
Lisbon, 14th November 2019- The producer SPi obtained the European Union support for the TV production through the program Creative Europe - MEDIA with the series Auga Seca, a co-production with the Iberian Portocabo (Spain). The première is scheduled for 17th January 2020 on RTP and TVG – Televisão da Galiza.
This is the first time that a Portuguese production company obtained this support to the culture and audiovisual sectors. The series Auga Seca has been one of the 20 European projects to be selected.
Auga Seca is a police drama set in the world of arms trafficking and its connections with the business world, where Teresa – played by Portuguese actress Victoria Guerra – will be involved in a plot which nothing is as it seems.
Under the direction of Toño López, with executive production by Alfonso Blanco from Portocabo and José Amaral from SPi, Auga Seca has an excellent international technical team.
This co-production is carried out by SPi, in Portugal, a producer of the SP Televisão Group, which is dedicated to international co-productions.
